In the 20th century, Kaily Koutsogiannis graduated from a Bachelor of Visual Arts at the University of Sydney (Sydney College of the Arts) and has since continued to tell an epic tale or two…

A career which began in television production at SBS (both behind the scenes and in front of the camera) led to studying Performing Arts at the Actors Centre Australia… and now, in the 21st century (cue the percussions) through the portal of her viewfinder and the characters emerging from the shadows, Koutsogiannis has found the essence of storytelling through photography. Koutsogiannis’ work has been featured in both hemispheres. Receiving ‘Honourable Mentions’ at The Mobile Photography Awards 2012 & 2013 at the Soho Gallery of Digital Art, New York and the ‘mObilepixatiOn’ Unit 24 Gallery, London. Locally, Koutsogiannis exhibited in ‘Urban Art 13A’ and ‘Click’ at Brunswick Street Gallery, Melbourne and ‘Four Seconds’ at the Obscura Gallery, St Kilda. In 2013, Koutsogiannis had her first solo exhibition ‘A love letter to Sydney’ at The Mint, Sydney Living Museums and was one of nine Sydney Photographers showcasing their city in the ‘Street’ Exhibition at the State Library NSW presented by the Head On Photo Festival in collaboration with the State Library of NSW. Currently, Koutsogiannis has been chosen as one of 50 artists from around the world to be featured in the MobileMasters book.
